Arrival & Outdoor Experience
Sign in between 8-9am and enjoy activity outdoors.
Outdoor Learning
Engage in play and activities that promote health and growth in all developmental domains: sense of self, independence, self-discipline, confidence, creativity, imagination, problem-solving, social skills, and large and small motor skills.
Self-Regulation
Practice emotional regulation, self-control, and understanding of others.
Korean Dual Language
Explore Korean language and culture. Learn songs, sight words, and stories.
Safety, Health, and Emergency Practices
Practice well-grounded safety and health concepts.
Morning Group (10am)
Welcome friends & share topics of the day during circle time. Learn Language Arts and Math concepts.
Transition to learning centers.
Learning Center
Learn and practice letter activities, rhyme, vocabulary development, book baskets, letter search, literacy development, sorting and patterns, math concepts, blocks, puzzles, cooking, science, and dramatic play.
Bible Time
On Fridays, little worshippers sing and listen to a Bible story. Virtues Introduced: Trust, Love, Self-control, Peace, Obedience, Faithfulness, Honesty, Respect, Kindness, Patience, Gentleness, Joy
Weekly Enrichment (10:30am)
Engage in hands-on experiences and projects in subjects that cultivate the multiple intelligences, such as Music & Movement, Creative Arts, Science, Engineering, Show and Tell, and more.
Bringing Data-Driven Methodology to the Classroom
At Growing Years Children’s Academy, we use two research based assessment tools as part of our teaching methodology: CLASS and ECERS.
CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) enhances effective teacher-student interaction which is a primary ingredient in high-quality early educational experiences.
ECERS (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale) measures the comprehensive quality of the learning environment.
